Hello, I have a 1974 Dodge Charger SE, and due to some really bad luck I found a lovely pot hole by my house. This caused a part on the driver side to bend beyond repair. First I need to find out what is the actual name for the part so that I can replace it and then I need to find a place that has one available. I have attached some photos of the damaged part. My guess is it is the control arm or "a" frame as a friend called it while we removed it. I am in no means an expert on cars but I do enjoy trying to fix them myself. Please help. Thank you very much.

Tom,
Thank you very much for the information. I will give this a shot and hopefully be back on the road in no time.

note:
73 and 74 are the same but... not
73s got screw in ball joints, 74 and lates got pressed in.
But I think you can press in a 74 ball joint into a 73 LCA
