Here's something everybody can use and make for themselves. I call it a poormans creeper and I have to admit it wasn't my idea but I did modify the original design some. Bodyshops receive a lot of OEM bumpers in what we call bumper wrap. It is a 1/4" foam covered on one side by a really thick plastic and it comes usually in a 4x8 sheet. This may be hard to come up with if you don't work in a bodyshop but most bodyshops will have a dumpster full or may save or give you a piece of it for a chance at future business. Basically all I did was cut it into a 4x4 section, fold it 3x equally and tape the 3 open sides with Gorilla tape. TADA! Now you have something to lie under your car that will lie in liquids and not soak them up, lightweight to go anywhere, cleans easily, doesn't slide around, costs almost nuttin' and can be thrown away. Doubles as a seat cover if you keep it clean also. The original designer warns me that it will catch on fire if welded around, so be careful. I also altered the design by leaving part of one corner untaped to release the air in it when you lay on it. Original design called for squishing it to release the air and taping the full corner to keep the air out.
