71 fuel tank/ emissions conversion

Wondering if anyone has converted the pressurized rear wheel well emissions type fuel system in a 71 Charger to the non pressurized set-up and what all is needed?


I have a 71 with the rear left wheel well emissions set-up and it's all rusted out. Want to get rid of it and just run normal lines and a more normal set-up.


Been trying to determine if this would mean a different fuel tank but searches have come up with nothing so far.


Different tank, lines, emissions canister up front? Anything else?

Looks like fuel tanks are different. 71 service manual only shows one type of system and assembly. (the left rear wheel well type)

72-73 lists a different fuel tank.

Guessing most just stick with the set-up the car came with......
