Thanks Nacho! Correct on wheel well moldings, incorrect on exhaust tips with flanged valence. And one could delete and/or add options too. Where did you get the documentation? Update, just saw the watermark. Hamtramck-historical has some fantastic documentation in their library! Thanks again, Jeff!

I think the only except to that was for California cars, due to noise regulations.
I wonder if one could order a car with "tip delete" if they wanted?
Oops...just saw Nacho's post on the "next page". So, N42 was an option then, on all Chargers?

There you go. I thought I remembered that the California cars could not have them.
My plain Jane Rallye didn't have them from the factory, but it will when I get done with it. To me, they are just too cool and too integral to the look of the performance B-bodies in those years to run without them.

Pretty sure the bright exhaust tips (and the corresponding valance) were only "standard" on Hemi models.
On a non hemi R/T they would have been optional. Yes-Probably popular, but not standard.
And they were not available on California models.
exhaust pipes on this car look to turn down. Was wondering if that was normal or perhaps a CA thing?
Sure, any car needs to be looked at carefully. (torque boxes)
Never heard of shark door panels.
71 R/T's and 500's have unique front/upper door panels with emblems/medallions. No interior pictures of this car to determine whether those are present.

In Brooklyn, Queens and on Long Island we called the RT badging "Shark Doors" because they looked like the sides of the dog fish / sand sharks that we're all familiar with seeing in our local waters.
