So I got my new Charger and arrow emblems in the mail today. The Charger emblems are peel and stick... the arrow emblems came with pins... grrrr. Now I will have to cut the damn things off and apply two sided tape.
I'm familiar with the height placement on the fenders lining them up with the side markers... but how about the side distance from the rear edge of the fender? Does anyone happen to have a diagram with those numbers?
I'm sure I can wing it and make them center between the fender edge and wheel well, but I'd like to be correct as much as possible if that info is out there.

I have the factory drawing for this, I think. But it's of such poor resolution and quality, I doubt it would be helpful.
If no one else comes forth with a better copy, or answer, I'll post the horrible thing.

Charlie, are you sure you ordered/received the correct emblems. The third gen emblems are not the same size as first of second. And sounds like you may have that instead of the correct stick on. The correct one should be a little less than 3 inches. I have a picture comparison but since we can't post pictures, I'd have to email it to you. Bob

Yes, these were specific to Gen-3.... www.classicindustries.com/shop/1971/dodge/charger/parts/?q=3506410They measure 2 7/8" long. I made some comparisons looking at the Charger SE in that road test video... they give a good view of the emblems on the passenger fender. In fact, when I go full screen on my laptop, it actually works out to where I can put mine up to the screen for a perfect match. I can look at my two emblems next to each other and compare it to the video emblems next to each other... noting how Charger and arrow line up with one another. It turns out to be the same as mine.

Just so everything is clear, the first pic is the difference between 66-67 and 68-70 Script emblems. 66-67 2602638 and Arrow is 2605094 68-70 2841886 and Arrow is 2841849 3504807 shows difference between older script and newer 3rd gen. Arrow 3506410. 2898929 is 71-2 older script. 2902306 I believe was used on some Sail panels. 3504807 is 73-4 and shows difference between older script and newer 3rd gen. Arrow 3506410. Dodge emblem IS metal but was also used on 75-79 Charger/Magnum but was plastic. 3680687 is trunk script.

The script I have is 3504807. The arrow I have is 3506410. They are both the correct size. Only thing is my arrow has pins. So, since it is the correct size, I can easily get rid of the pins and all will be right in the cosmos.

My 74 got the two pins one on Sail panels ( like the 2841887 )... but is a local thing. However I can't recall if that's the PN.
