My driver side lower door hinge appears to be off of an E body. It has the big S spring in it. In my opinion it functions better than the original. Has anyone else used an E body hinge on your car?

My 74 got S spring kind from factory but THEY ARE NOT E body, they are B body. An upgrade from the 71/73 push kind spring assembly.
Shame they are not reproed. I rebuilt mines quite ago but just the pins. S spring was not available or the “star” wheels. My rebuilt job didn’t hold nice but finally got a NOS set which is now on my car.
