It's certainly bright. A little shocking when you first turn them on at night. I'm sure when I start moving things back in that it will be toned down a bit.

I've developed an odd craving for the 92 Bonneville SSEI with the three spoke rims, in white. It's such a product of it's time.

Very '90s! They were a nice car though...good size/comfort, lots of features, and the old reliable 3800 V6. Not many of those got "saved". Pretty hard to find a clean one these days. I was happy to see the 40th anniv. GP on our tour. I love those cars. I was just reminiscing about my old '96 Chrysler Concorde the other day. It was also all white, with the 3.5L V6 that had dual Holley throttle bodies on it. A big, fun car. Looked like this one, but with tinted windows (came from Florida). Here's your Bonny for sale. Between "Cash for Clunkers" and the new car shortage we have now, I doubt many of the 80's-90's cars will survive. I mean, the normal passenger cars that are still in drivable condition are going to get used and trashed by people on the low end of the car buying market. I wish I had the means to save more of the "Rad Era" cars. A couple years ago I saw an Oldsmobile Omega Sport going for a grand on AutoTempest. It looked to be in excellent condition, very well taken care of. I didn't even know there was a sport version of that car. It had a huge 80's style "sport" sticker on the side. The kind of thing that would have been tacky and embarrassing by the 90's, but it's vintage cool now. I wish I'd found a way to save that one, although I'm not particularly enamored with the Omega. It was such a nice example of what has to be a very rare car by now and it could have been had for next to nothing.
I'd like to collect all of the SC 3800 cars. They're not as overlooked as the Omega Sport, but IMO they're still highly under-rated. The 90's are getting far enough away for that period of styling to be almost exotic, but the SC 3800 cars still offer good performance while being easy and cheap to maintain. Maybe I shouldn't say that on a Mopar forum - I'd also like to get a few K-cars, and the 4th gen Charger. I'd love to have a Rampage, and build a turbo 2.2. I don't think these cars are as easy to live with as the SC 3800 cars but I'm into the angular 80's styling. Chrysler's styling department was doing good work in that era.
There's a guy on YouTube who converted a 2nd gen Intrepid to RWD with a 318. It's impressive to see an Intrepid doing rear wheel burnouts.

Well, exactly 3 months later than I had planned, but all of my "stuff" is back (at least I hope it's all there).

After a lengthy month of December, I'm finally able to spend some time in the garage again. Got this batch and another the same size cleaned up for re-use. And started to unbox some of the tools that go up on the pegboard, and sort them by which half of the bench they go on. I'll never get the place back EXACTLY like it was, but I'd like to get as close as I reasonably can. Started in this upper corner, with this old dealership light. It came form the Chevy dealer I worked at in my home town. One of the promo items sent by GM automatically (without asking), and billed to the dealer account. It ended up (still boxed) in our dispatch tower. The service manager took one look at it, and the tower being glass on all 4 sides, decided we had no use for it, and gave it to me. Had to replace one of the bulbs inside, but could not find a 1/2 size 15W incandescent, so it's upgraded to a couple of LEDs. Just a little brighter than before, but looks good. It's amazing that this delicate, eggshell thin blow molded fixture survived the fire.

Is that what a new garage looks like?
