Just wondering is there a paint code for our orange looking air cleaners ?? Or any resonable facsimile might work. Have to blast and repaint it .

I simply went to the hardware store and got ORANGE paint can LOL. I wasn't picky with that.
In fact my engine is painted ANTIQUE FORD BLUE because there is not Chrysler colors in Venezuela. Just GM and Ford. If the ANTIQUE FORD BLUE is not the same CORPORATED CHRYSLER BLUE shade, it is allmost the same and you could tell it just side by side

Was there a pattern to the color, black or orange, over the years? I've seen black gloss, orange & black wrinkle paint. Haven't paid attention to year or engine size. My '71 had black wrinkle with remnants of it on the inside so figured it was factory.

black wrinckle was just on 71

how would you say this is not the correct CHRYSLER CORPORATD BLUE ? or the correct ORANGE ? one of the pics compairing with the Rev-N-Nator Module for orange shade ( assuming they use a "Moparish" color ). I have had the Mopar orange Module, but Never advertised any orange shadow difference, so IMHO is not something to be so picky. When I painted my air cleaner didn't advertised any diff with the original color still had with the fresh paint, aside just the fresh paint makes it look FRESH, not aged. as mentioned just went to the hardware store and picked up a basic ORANGE paint can

Vic, if you go to my website www.retrorarities.com/PartsResto/index.html at the bottom is the resto on the air cleaner. It didn't c0me with the car so I had to find one. The color I used matched exactly with what was left on the original. It was Rust-oleum gloss orange. 214084
