Has anyone used the Energy suspension polyurethane Motor Mount inserts? My mounts have old worn out rubber and I'm debating about upgrading to these instead of just the regular rubber inserts. I have a 73 that uses the spool type of mounts. Supposedly the polyurethane is stiffer and might transfer vibration but the rubber may tear. Im putting an a .60 over 383 that will have about 530HP

You could check PST's website and see if they have polygraphite motor mounts for 73. Just pointing out another option - I couldn't tell you which is best.

My factory spool mounts are still in working order after 48 years, so, why bother about they could tear?
Diff stuff is the rubber replacement inserts quality.

I used them and they work fine, no issues.
