Hello All,
I'm changing my diff fluid tomorrow. The new fluid came with 4 oz of "Yukon Gear & Axle limited slip friction modifier"
Does anyone have any experience with this additive or one like it?
Is it beneficial, reccommended, or unnecessary?
Thanks/Dennis

Yep...additive is needed IF you have a clutch-type limited slip differential. If you have some type of geared locker (like an Eaton Gov-Lock) or a Torsen differential that uses helical gears, or an open differential, then the additive is not needed. So to make an educated choice, you will have to know what design of differential you have.
