Hello All, Not really sure what was holding the chrome trim on, I seem to have a picture with a clip on the door. Not sure if my pictured clip is correct, what screws were used? Any help is appreciated. So here is the molding. Picture of a clip that was there when I removed the trim. Here is where the screw would go and possible through a clip. And this is what I think may be the clip.

You're gonna need the Door Belt Molding Screws. The clips you have are correct. The screws will be Phillips and I think they are 1/4. Not very big. Try Detroit Muscle Technologies.

Was able to source the four clips and eight screws that I needed.

Makes me wonder if those are re-popped. Also one of the reasons I'm reluctant to blow apart my car to paint it. All those moldings to deal with!

I have seen something similar as re-pops but not for 71-74. I was young when I ripped my car apart, did bag a lot, not a lot of photos and I was using Kodak disposable cameras!
Though later I did take pictures with my first cell phone. It's unbelievable that I have touched every part of this car.

I never have seen the clips repopped BUT “regular” screws can be used. Not EXACTLY the same but works.

Always like to use original if I can. Something I have learned after taking every nut and bolt off this car.
