I have searched and searched but there seems to be a number of opinions how far from the door leading edge to set the closest piece. On the driver side that is the CHARGER emblem but on the passenger side it's the arrow.
I think everyone agrees the distance between the A Line and the top of the Arrow is 8.5 inches but the door leading edge to closest emblem is a crap shoot!
Does anyone have a no kidding unmolested '74 SE that would measure both sides for me?

It should get both Charger and arrow, on both doors. Arrow allways toward to the front and between Charger and front edge of door.

I think he meant the Charger badge was closest to the leading edge of the door on drivers side and the arrow was closest on the pass side. Sorry, I got nothing on how far away.

Yes sir, that is what I said. Thank you for at least reading the post.
I'm a bit surprised nobody has offered up the measurements. Probably not a lot of unmolested '74 SE Chargers out there.....

Thank You Dave. I also have those pictures saved but have found others on the internet, with different placement, claiming to be original '74 SE ('73 is supposed to be the same I understand). I've posted for help on the forums thinking these folks are more knowledgeable and hopefully more willing to share.
After combing through everything you had, I think my next step will be to pull the upper inside door panels to see if there is any residual evidence of where this '74 SE emblems originally were placed. From there I'll make a decision regarding where they will be mounted.
Thanks Again Dave!

Shouldn't be any evidence on the inside since badges are stick on. Just trying to save you the work of taking the panel off. There may not be a set measurement since Dave's pic shows two different measurements for the spacing of the gap between the arrow and word and from the leading edge. That would drive me nuts! Well there was probably a measurement they were supposed to use but as long as it was straight it passed muster. On a similar note, my '71 has the arrows below the Charger. The car has been painted but since there is overspray on the badges I don't think they came off in the process. I thought it was a fluke but then I saw another car, which looked pretty original that was the same way. Crap happens on the line. Maybe I should look up to see if the build date was a Friday. Install them the best way you think they look to you, goldrush!

Yeah, I like to save that stuff when I can. But the factory drawings I have all are for '71s I think, maybe '72. Let us know what you decide on, and share some photos if you would. The timeliness of it isn't there, but I wonder if you could write to Rich Ehrenberg at Mopar Action. He's the master of producing those old factory diagrams.

As far I know the arrow should be allways to the front side of the door… that’s what I wanted to mean On Rallye stripes the cut outs (printed on reflectives) are also on that way… arrow allways to the front side Which on driver side would be before the Charger word.
