I was reading a thread on here about goldrush, a member, heres badge placement. It reminded me of when I placed my badges on the 71, SE. I was called out by someone (I don't recall who when and where) about the placement of my Charger/arrow emlem direction. They said one side where the arrow points was wrong on my car. Both sides are supposed to point in the same direction. The "goldrush" members thread made me revisit the old video that I used to place my emblems. I actually estimated the spacing based on the video as well as the arrow/direction placement. I'm certain we have all seen the 71 SE video. ("It's a happinimg lol" ) That's what I used to place mine. What better resource than an actual 1971 Motor trend video? Well , the video shows that I placed them correctly or at least that there is a variation. The driver side and passenger side arrow point in opposite directions. UPDATE - I found another 1971 video that also confirms my badge placement. This one is clear.

The clarity in that MyMopar video is excellent. Unfortunately, while it is titled "1971 Dodge Charger, Charger R/T, Super Bee & Coronet Dealer Promo Film", the only cars pictured are the 500 and Coronet.

Yes but the 71 SE video is blurry but I can swear the arrow points toward the back of the car on the drivers side.
