I have allot of Chicago Pneumatic air tools.... I have a straight line sander A palm sander DA Sander drill and impact And a few other things like die grinders etc..
I buy them through my work as we use allot of thier products on the shop floor...
I really like them, But I tend to use allot of electric sanders instead as it is much easier on the compressor and much quieter........the Electrics never run low on air if someone else is using compressor
And I dont have the air line in the way, just the electric cord...
I only use the powered stuff for the rough body work....then I use a varity of Hand board sanders as its the only way to get a car straight....
My spray guns are Sharpe "RAzor HVLP" which is good for water based paints also for when they ban all other types of paints and a Devillbiss Suction Feed Gun....and a couple of cheaper off shore primer guns...and a couple of cheaper HVLP offshore guns

Mine is more a testimonial on 'brand name' than body tools per say. Chicago Pnuematic is a 'right on' product @ a great price My 3/8" butterfly & ratcheting impact were bought in the middle 90s & are still going strong I kinda shy away from such a great price on 1/2" impacts - but for general light duty: I love em

I have an impact, air ratchet, die grinder, air hammer, punch and flanger...all imports of one kind or another, most purchased used at an area used tool store. They have been adequate for the light use I have put them to thus far. I doubt any of them are very efficient.

My neighbor has National Puematic DA's. One cheap in line sander and a expensive one. I started out buying what I could afford, but as they wear out I am switching to more expensive stuff. Bought some stuff at a Pawn shop but they want so much for used play toys it is hard to justify buying used when for a few dollars more geting something with a warranty.

I am very partial to Ingersoll Rand impact guns. Have composite body 3/8 and 1/2 drive models that have been flawless for 10 years.
I have no preference on air ratchets. Regardless of brand I wear em out and break them fast. Bought a "powerful" CP one time that was good for busting the heck out of your hands/knuckles. These days I prefer to buy relatively inexpensive Craftsman air ratchets in 1/4 and 3/8 drive every year or two at Christmas when they are 50% off. Then I wear em out and throw them out.
Like my long stroke CP air hammer. It is very sensitive as far as being oiled regularly.
For lesser used stuff like die grinders and cut off wheels, I prefer to buy the cheap stuff. My $25 12 year old 90 degree die grinder did finally die this year.
I don`t care for any air drill whatsoever. Those high RPM`s burn up drill bits too fast.
I`ll be buying myself some body work air tools soon. Probably will go with IR, a name that I trust.

Heck I have a Hodgepodge of every thing Snap on Blue point IR CP and even Harbor freight specials for Die Grinders when they Brake through em away! at ten bucks each on sale why not?
Air tools are nice but none of them have any warranty thats worth any thing Buy cheap through it away when it stops working.
Although I have said all that as far as Body tools go I'm looking at buying some Hutchins DA's and a Strait orbital to replace some of the junk I have been using made by CP IR and Snap on
As far as Paint guns go I have 3 Devilbiss guns two really nice ones and a so so Primmer gun If and when I get a wild hair for a new one I would go SATA maybe one Iwata in particular
