Does the carb to fuel pump line sit ontop of the fuel pump or go behind it? It looks like it could go either way but if it was behind the pump it looks like it may rub the block. I've posted on several other boards but no responses. I'm going to try and finally get this 400 cranked up this weekend if I can find this out.

I don't know, when I route it that way it literally just sits ontop of the fuel pump, no clips holding the line. I can just go through the metal loom on the end of the valve cover to kinda hold it. I guess I'll mock it up and take a photo. No other responses on any other boards. So I'll try it out.

My phnoe cam got somekind stuck and doesn't want to save the pic.
yes there is not any kind of loom or clip to hold the line, simply sits by itself on the air once is fit

Ok I will put it on tomorrow. Do you know what kinda clamps go on the fuel pump to filter? What kinda clamps go on the fuel hose from the metal fuel line to fuel pump? Should they all be pressure clamps or the KV clamps you have to crimp with the special tool? Then I only have to put on water hoses, belts, and power steering hoses and I can finally start it up.

Looks kinda neat. Don't know why it doesn't show for a 440 also. Should be the same

I didn't know fuel line came with that spiral armor over the outside...thought that was just a brake line thing.
While I have no first hand experience with them, Quanta is a well know tank manufacturer, and I believe has a good reputation.

I believe that is a stock picture, every line uses that same one. I called and they said that when I order, they make it. It will be shipped within 24 hours. The fact that it doesn't list 440 as well, concerns me. I hope it is not a one size fits all deal. I need it so I guess I'll be the guinea pig on this one.
