Looks ok Tom....... I used to be a house Framer years ago and your construction design makes me chuckle just a little......sorry bud But I am sure it will be 100% AOK and serve your purposes......are you covering the exterior with siding or anything? Unfortunately, I let Lamont engineer the building. My mistake....suffice it to say I am not 100% thrilled with it right now. But, as you say..it should still serve its purpose, so I am relatively satisfied. No siding. Just going to paint it to match the other building. Am going to use some expanding foam inside to seal up some of the cracks/gaps and such.

Well....the outhouse is now finished. Its raining outside...and the roof is leaking right where I thought it might. Lamont wants to put some tar on the roof. #Thinking# #Thinking# If I get that tar, I may be tempted to tar and feather Lamont.

While it really pains me to do so, I am probably going to rip the roof back off of it on Wednesday and try again.
It will likely end up costing me a couple hundred more $$ to get it right.....but I really do not want my engines getting wet.
Not sure i want Lamont participating in the project anymore. He has "helped" quite enough.
As a mechanic.....if I don`t do things right the first time....I don`t get paid to correct my mistakes. I am kind of thinking that Lamont should help get it right without any additional pay.

Sorry to hear it's leaking Tom.
What did you cover the roof with?
If you are careful dis-assembling it, you should be able to reuse most of the materials.

I am going to have Lamont tear it all back off Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully we can get it finished (again) on Thursday, painted on Friday morning and start moving engines and transmissions.

So where are the updated Pictures?.......I wanted to see Lamont Tarred and feathered!.....
Whenever I used Rolled roofing I would also place tar paper under the material, making sure seems where off set from the rolled roof........tarring ( or roof patch caulking) under the edges of the roofing would prob be a good idea based on the lack of pitch you have on the roof....
Good Luck!

I really should have gotten that bus ticket. Since Bob was not available to help me out.....I finished the project up myself, with some assistance from my son and daughter. I still need to get some expanding foam to fill up a few cracks, gaps...etc etc...but it should serve its purpose well. After his initial build, Lamont never touched the building again.....(probably a good thing) Also, I should give Steve (GreenGo) a big thanks #2Thumbs# for answering all of my ignorant questions. Honestly, this kind of thing is not exactly my cup of tea...but what the heck!
