I was not going to answer because I don`t have definite answers based on experience just "here-say" based on reading.... I am fairly sure that you can swap in the 73-74 disc spindles. Whether it is a good idea or not is debatable. Swapping in 73-76 A body disc spindles or 71-72 b body disc spindles would seem to preferable based on what I have read. The drawback to the 71-72 b body spindles is that the stock type rotors are expensive. I will add a link below that is informative in regard to disc conversions. Based on what I read in the article , I would look for a set of the 73-76 A body spindles. I am fairly certain that swapping the LCA`s is a "no-go"

Thanks guys, just wanted to make sure cause I had a guy e-mail me the other night wanting to buy the LCAs and disc setup from my 74 parts car to put on his 71 RT that he bought from a junkyard where the front suspension was robbed from it. i didn't want to sell him something that he couldn't use or that would require alot of modification.

Guys yes the spindles and rotors will fit. Nacho right the rest is a no go.
Tom you can get the 71-72 rotors now in a one piece for about $75 each. 2 piece is for the restro crew $$$$$$$$.
Really only difference between the A/E spindles and the 71-72 B spindles is bearing size.
hope this helps

I knew they were available as I bought a set of the 1 pc rotors a few years ago on ebay. All of the online sources I check with are $150 or more. **nevermind** $72.99 @ Autozone (as opposed to $175 at advance) As far as using the 73-74 spindles on a 71-72. The 73-74 spindle is a taller spindle. will have to re-align car if used. E-bergh in the mopar action article feels that its an unsafe swap due to increased load on the upper ball joint. Others say that is BS. If the person needs LCA`s... and spindles....I would suggest they look for a 71-72 B body with disc brakes. 4 door coronets and satellites are what I get most of my extras off of.

Tom,
Just checked at Autozone.com and for the 71 charger they were 72.99 must order ships in 2 days with a 2 year warranty.
The late b body spindle debate has gone on forever it seems. I have talked to R Eberg and Bill Reily. Exhausted study done by Reily and he found minimum non issues. Safe to say that it is alright to use them but to each his own. I have used them and found no difference in daily driving. Rick and chryslers issue is stressing the upper ball joint but to do that the suspension has to be almost at full full travel. How often do you drive at full travel? If you can still get the early b or a/e spindles no problem but the late b spindles are still an option/.
