I'm very impressed Jer. I'm glad to see your adding to your corral of Mopars. Yes I'd have to say you got the fever. Nice looking 72's you have there. It probably won't belong before your one of the guru's on the boad giving ton's of advice on Charger building. Have you decided on what color combo for the 440 72?Congratulations again on the score. Great price. Bob Oh shoot, Bob...one would think that as long as my stinking Post was, I wouldn't forget anything!! In answer to your question, yes, I know what I'm going to do with the FORMER Shadowfax II.....I am going to use the Build Sheet and restore it to the way it rolled off the assembly line... Interior.........B5-Medium Blue w/Buckets and Buddy Console Exterior........HB1-Light Blue w/Drip and Belt Moldings Roof..............V1W-Full White Vinyl Wheels.........14x7 Rallyes and of course, stay with the 440/727/8-34", yadda yadda yadda. Which won't be hard, since I didn't sell anything off of it....sure glad I didn't cut out the buddy seat brackets!! Gonna be a long and lengthy project though....it's in a LOT worse shape than the "new" SE is....which is the very reason I started thinking about another one in the first place. Thanks to my continued ingestion of alcoholic libation today (and the brilliant thoughts it produces), I have decided I am going to name the black one Shadowfax II. I'm kicking around the idea of renaming the blue one "Petty Theft"...since people call the HB1 Petty Blue, and it's going to end up "stealing" a lot of my time and money!! Whadda ya think?....pretty brilliant and impressive, eh Bob? #Drunk# #Drunk# #DriveBurnout# #DriveBurnout#

I`ll pretend I did not know this was going to happen. ;D I am pretty sure that steering wheel is out of a Dodge Truck. Time for Jer to go "high profile" and put a rim blow wheel in that baby. Jer, you can buy a new window crank for that car at PB for about 8 bucks. Look in the "help" section. It looks more like the originals than the service replacements Ma Mopar sells. You are the Soul of Discretion, Tom....I knew I could trust you...I won't tell anybody that you tried to talk me out of it and wanted me to buy an 8500 dollar (so far) RT that was the epitomy of the word "fixer upper"!! I still have the Rim Blow that came out of the 440 car, Tom...know of anyone who rebuilds them? (Not for the new Shadowfax II...but rather to put back in the 440 car.) Thanks for the crank tip...you can't even ship that for 8 bucks!! And I know exactly where that PB section is, too...I bought 2 sets (4 total) of door pull handles from there, when it looked like I was never going to find any SE Brougham handles. Speaking of which, if my Build Sheets on the 440 car don't specify the exact steering wheel, and don't have an A76 (Brougham)option code on them (or the fender tag), and since it is a Notorious Lynch Road car, whose to say that it wasn't an A76 with a standard 3 spoke (as opposed to Rim Blow) steering wheel right? Was there such a thing as an SE Brougham car with buckets and buddy seat, Tom? Just something for you to gnaw on....until my fetishes get posted!! Jer.

hey jer, not to still youre thunder, but where did you send your dash off to when you had it refinished? Just Dashes in Van Nuys, CA is doing it....good rep, no shipping charges (for me), and I liked what I saw on my tour down there, as well as the people there. I believe they are at JustDashes.com ....I think! 650 bucks, w/ 6 week turnaround, Chris. Jer.

I'm kicking around the idea of renaming the blue one "Petty Theft"...since people call the HB1 Petty Blue, and it's going to end up "stealing" a lot of my time and money!! The stealing of both time and money is right, Jer. LOL Only problem is that "Petty Blue" is EB3 for all 72-4. Sorry to break it to ya. EB1 is kind of "Baby Blue" - maybe Cradle Robber would be more appropriate

Thanks to my continued ingestion of alcoholic libation today (and the brilliant thoughts it produces), I have decided I am going to name the black one Shadowfax II. Dude, I thought we already settled on a new name for the blue car...based on the little blue shag friend you found in the trunk! Jer, you'd be totally stylin' in this while cruisin' down the road! And of course, one for Mrs. Jer too! Man, you'd look good in that coat anytime...not just at the wheel of the Blue Chinchilla. In the motorhome, at the drag races, heck, even doing PI work under cover. The Blue Chinchilla Rides Again!
