dome ligfht has nothing to do directly to dimmer function beside just carry the tab to turn on the dome light, but in fact the dome light tab making switch on the dome light drives negative not positive. So make work that won't mean anything on dimmer function itself

FOUND IT !!!! tested the Fuses and found a bad one, lights work now. Still have a few lights out but hey.....sky is blue and water is wet, life is definitely good! Now I can replace them tomorrow and move on to the next thing. Brock I would still like some pictures of the harness and cluster please, so I can learn more about the 3rd. Gen Chargers. I'll be cruzin tomorrow. Some of the fuses tested good but the element is DEFINITELY curved BAD so I will replace them tomorrow. I found some repairs in the wire harness i didn't know about looks good though. Thank you all. ;D

Orange wires are lights that are controlled by the dimmer. More pics with comments soon!

you don't need to worry about label every wire/socket... cluster is labeled on back to get the proper wire hook.
Only socket places don't labeled are the tach/clock ones if equipped ( turning and light ) and the brakes warning light. Rest are perfectly labeled, but is just one way plug. Wires are with propper lenght to get the places.
OH and of course, gauges studs not labeled are feeded by limiter black wiring

Hey Brock SUPER PICTURES!! helps out a bunch, cuz I will need to take out my cluster to reach a bulb or two. However most of them work fine. I just want them all to work because it's the way MOPAR designed it. #2Thumbs#

with radio removed you get everything cleared to replace bulbs "comfortably". I can replace without remove but that because I already know every socket location and reach all corners with my hand. lucky or not, my hands are not BIG.

Nacho is right, as always those bulbs are made to be replaced without taking anything apart. Heres how I would aproach it (lefthanded Cajun style) Grab a good medium sized flashlight. Make sure your shoes are clean. Get a package of replacement bulbs & lean your head down in front of the seat with your arms outstretched. Position your back on the drivers seat & move your feet up over the seatback. Be careful not to damage the headliner. Now get comfortable while looking under the dash & shining your flashlight around behind the dash. You may want to lay that bag of bulbs near at hand while you reach up to fiddle with wires & get yourself familiar with all the connections. I recommend disconnecting the battery first; if only because there might be a few issues you want to change while you're under there. If you have back trouble, removing the drivers seat makes it easier

Nacho you are a lucky man! My hands ARE large and don't really go behind a dash at least not very easy. Brock I think I will remove the seat and maybe the radio as well. You guys are the pro's and have ALOT more experience with these cars than I do. I will follow your advice you and Nacho gave me. thanks guys. #RockOn#

yeah, without know the exact locations, I say is hard try to get to all bulbs, plus around there are couple of wires allways hot/powered ( ammeter wires ), so without know the bulbe location, I would disconect the batt so save from some accidental short working around.
remove the radio is great... seta can keep on place, but if you decide to remove, go ahead.
NOTE... seat has sensors wires on 74, attached on springs ( except canadian ). Be sure you unplug that harness
