They will fit, as I had said I ran a Demon, in fact I ran this one: www.jegs.com/i/Barry+Grant/132/1402010VE/10002/-1/743583|10271 and in case it doesn't work right, it's part # 132-1402010VE. It replaced a Holley #3310-4, I took the air cleaner right off the Holley, and put it on the Demon, like I said, the only difference was that the choke linkage rod where it conencts to the butterfly for the choke, I had to do some very slight bending to get the linkage to completely clear so the choke would completely open and not get hung up....... Also, you say that, the prementioned air cleaner is the one that you "want to purchase" with that being said, unless I missread it, I'm assuming then that you don't have it... If that's the case, something like this would probably be a little bit more to the liking, but this is just an example, so.... www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/50004/10002/-1/751908|10269

Put a string across the main motor mount bolts. Measure from the string to top of air cleaner. Crawl under car with hood on, or get in and close hood over you, then do the same thing [string] across the bolt holes in the motor mount plates on K-frame and measure to bottom of hood. Compare measurements. I'm pretty sure it will fit under the power bulge hood though, I didn't have to change hoods till I went to the Dominator with nitrous and spacers. Who says there are no more free lunches ha ha. I saved jer an hour of typing hee hee hee

Got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I'm off on a business trip, right. So, I picked up a magazene to read on my flight. No, they didn't have a MoPar mag, so I bought Automobile (July 08). New M1, that's interesting. Well there's this article on page 22 titled "Why You Shouldn't Stop and Ask for Directions". I start reading along to find out what happened to this journalist. (Yeah, I'm pretty down on em for screwing up everything I really wanted to know bout a car in a mag for a couple of years now). OK. So, I'm reading along & these directions that the guy is giving the journalist start sounding familiar. Sure enough, I've lived 18 years of my life in the very same town! This is hilarious stuff. Just go to YouTube.com and type " bam! Larry Williams " in the search field. It's really too bad there never was a red barn that used to be along the route 20 years ago: cause it would have been mentioned! East Texas oral history at its finest!!!1
Of course Jer is in California. Ya think he might go for all that? Nah, I didn't think so either. I better start practicin on my direction givin before he drives through here.

Thanks Hotrodder, that is the carb I'm running you have really helped me out. You are correct I have not purchased an air cleaner yet. I do like those Jeg's air cleaners and I may have to go with that style, but I'm first going to check about the MP (as I've mentioned it would match my valve covers) since I know now that the drop base will work. Thanks again.

Sheesh..we must do things the easy way in Canada..alls I did was build up modeling clay on a piece of styrofoam and closed my hood on it compressing it and then I lifted the hood and measured the compression...and got the clarance...same kinda thing as plasta gage..worked easy and accurate...

...or get in and close hood over you, hee hee hee I'll give you "hee hee hee", Ray... Picture a 6'-1-3/4", 279 pound, 53 year old "getting in" an engine bay and closing the hood over him!! (Did I mention that this hypothetical person also has severe claustrophobia?) That's due to his hypothetical twin-brother locking him in a wooden toy box at the age of 9, on a 101 degree summer day, for about an hour and a half!!!... Hypothetically speaking. Sheesh..we must do things the easy way in Canada..alls I did was build up modeling clay on a piece of styrofoam and closed my hood on it compressing it and then I lifted the hood and measured the compression...and got the clarance...same kinda thing as plasta gage..worked easy and accurate... They won't let us have any modeling clay, here at the institution, Steve... Apparently it's too hard to tell it from C-4 plastique.

I'm 6'3" and I've done it. Wish I was smart enough to think of modeling clay. But like Jer said, they try to smoke the stuff in California, so it stays in the little box with the metal scissors. A couple guys drowned there trying to snort Coke too, so the Coke and Pepsi can only be used under adult supervision as well.
