I don't think I want any stripes. The car is not an R/T... it is just a factory Big Block (383) Charger 500. When I got it it was a rolling shell..a and I mean shell. If I was going to do a white interior, I might consider purple but I don't like the Purple with a black interior. I also have a 1970 440-6 Road Runner that is a factory FC7 car with a white interior and a white top and another 70 440-6 car that is a factory orange car. A 1969 GTX that will be Yellow and a custom 71 Road runner that will be lime lite green. I also have another 71 Charger... not an R/T not a Super Bee... or a 500.... but is a factory 383 4-speed car-Black with a Black vinyl top and a white interior... Neat car! So... I don't want any of my cars to be the same color so that's why I wanted white or the Citron Yella

Hello everyone. I had plans on painting my 1971 Charger -Paint code; W1 white like my wifes 72 Charger ....but I haven't seen one in Y3 Citron Yella Since my car is not an original anything special car, I don't have a problem paining it any color but I have narrowed it down to these two. Anyone have an opinion? I will ad a poll ..if I can. Thank you! Gots to be white

Y3 is also a 71 color. Here is a Citron Yella or curious yello on a 71 Charger. Looks a lot like Top but more orangey. Dunno, hard to tell on a computer monitor.

As many already know, I don't particularly care for white Mopars. A color that would never be on my list of "possibilities"....just a matter of personal taste. This is probably the only white Mopar that makes me drool.

White isn't "high performance looking"...it is "classy/clean looking". The 71 wing charger above looks o.k., but the wing should have been done better, it looks like a plastic model kit, glue on wing. At least the nose cone on the Charger looks better than the nose they did on the Road Runner. The 71 Road Runner "wing car" nose looks more like an army amphibious front end..LOL

Thanks to odzking posting that picture, i'm voting for the Yella. With the painted bumpers, oh yeah! Any car that is nice and straight , one solid color with nice subtle details like custom hood and etc (how about a front handmade lower spoiler like Rick and Pam did on that one car?) will look good any color but that yella would be sweet. I would like to see somebody do a really nice rootbeer brown like my friends 73 RR was.

There is a 73 Rallye but the color is Top . There is a bit of difference in the 2 colors I believe but again it is difficult to tell on a computer monitor. But I will say this looks really good with the black halo top and interior. Here is the fellows FBBO gallery page: www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=3704

Tom I can get that shade of yellow at any paint store north of Pittsburgh with the black vinal top it would be perfect.I bet I can find Steelers decales that will fit in the center of the wheels. and a pair of terrible towels on the head rests and it would be done.
