The car that I found at the junkyard yesterday had cruise control but had the "normal" 73-74 washer jug. It was mounted on the pass side front, bracketed to the front bumper! it mounted in the open space to the side of the hood latch. It looked like a factory install. That makes me think that the smaller jug, mounted to the pass side inner fender was a 74 only thing. Or perhaps.....The Big block cars were done like this because of the big hole and rubber flap on the pass inner fender did not allow it to be mounted there.

Here is a 440 what does look original with the small jug mounted on passenger inner fender. It does look it is there the rubber matt on inner fender. 74 by the way.
This car has a belt iddler I would like to mount on my car but will need also the sectioned A/C hose to get room to iddler.
However would it be interesting to see that setup you found thought
P.S.: I FOUND WE ARE STILL UNAVAILABLE TO ATTACH PICS, LOL... so ill attach when will be possible
P.S.2: posted the image on your junkyard dawg thread on DC.com

BTW a friend of mine with a 79 Lebaron wants to get rid off the Cruise control... do you know if it the same than Charger one ? beside the lever that I know is not the same.... The switch will work, but lever is shorter and not angled.

Nacho, I did see the pic. Thank You. I guess that eliminates the Big block/Small block theory. Do you have any pics of a 73 with cruise? I had to think about it for awhile but the 2 cars that I have gotten cruise parts off of in the past were both 74`s, so I was surprised to see the regular washer jug mounted where it was. I am hoping to go back to the car on Sunday. If the washer jug has not been taken off, I will take some pics.

Only difference posible between 73 or 74 on engine bay will be the reset button at a side of ECU. Dunno if really the oval or square air filter is a reason to label 73 or 74 because I have noticed they are mixed on 74. I haven't saved more complete engine bay pics with all that setup. And oftenly is hard to find a complete engine bay pic to detail if is 73 or 74 by the reset button.

You can attach pics here. It just doesn't show the pic. You have to click on the link it gives. Kinda like Moparts.
