so we are sure now about is not 71 fender, however still could it be 72 fenders, what looks pretty much similar to 73/74 using same sidemarkers, with just couple of diff. some external some internal.
If they are 72 fenders, Tom will be MORE POTENTIAL BUYER LOL

Thats a hard question for me to answer. Its all about finding 1 buyer willing to pay a reasonable price. From a personal perspective, I would not pay top dollar for it because I`d prefer a 440 if I was looking for a BB. However, I`d expect that there is someone out there, who lives within driving distance of you, who would love to have the rebuilt 383 and trans. You could always put it on Ebay with a reserve and test the waters. The worst thing that could happen is that it would not reach your reserve. Well, at least I'm gonna have a game plan when I start doing all this.

to be blunt, you wont get near that 4k that you put in it to rebuild/hop up. most that I have personally ever seen a rebuilt 383 go for is &1500 complete carb to oil with trans, how recent was the rebuild, that'll affect price too.

What I will say is that it in no way, size, shape or form appears to be a 71 500. Wrong tail lights, 500 has buckets and Rallye gauges. As Carson would have said, "I did not know that". This is just the kind of info I joined to learn. I thought the 500 was the basic, entry level Charger in our model years. Therefore, I would have expected a bench seat, std. tail lights, etc.
