You could put that reflective earth-tone stripe on a piece of toast and I'd like it.

You could put that reflective earth-tone stripe on a piece of toast and I'd like it. The beige color wouldn't work on it's own, and the stripe integrates the side reflectors better. I like the 71 stripe the best, but I bet it was expensive to install, having to align it across seven different panels.

Little CUV thing behind it has a hood shorter than the Charger's trunk. It would only cover the empty space between the Charger's bumper and radiator.

Yes, the days of long overhangs and engineered-in empty space just for styling are long gone I'm afraid.
