It can't be too hard. It's just a single sheet of metal, with a brace going across in the middle IIRC.

Yes, that's been done a few times over the years. We had a forum member who did that to a white one.

Huh, I thought the boom tube went to the passenger's side. I'm sure putting it on the driver's side makes it quieter for the crowd and surrounding area, if that's what you want . . .
