I am looking for re-popped interior parts. I am looking for pillars, kick panels, quarter window trim, and seat belt retractor covers. I have the originals but the paint peeled in some spots on them and they look bad after sanding and painting. I can find the pillars and kick panels pretty easy but am having trouble finding the quarter window and seat belt retractor covers. Any help on location these parts or maybe if anyone knows how to repair the old ones it would be awesome.

1st.... becarefull with repro panels... there are JUST ones that worths the money and they are the seat back panels. Rest are pieces of s***t
We have two main manufacturers, PALCO ( Dashtops ) and Accu-form.
Accu -s**t is the ONLY who makes the A pillars and the 74 only rear lowers. I think they make also the rest BUT for those they are the only ones. Rest are available from PALCO (Dashtops) including 71/73 rear lowers. Also seatbacks.
Palco panels are "average". Don't expect really NICE pieces, they are just "better" enough than get chalky panels. Accu-s**t doesn't worth a penny for a resto job at least.
There is JUST ONE manufacturer ( nobody knows the brand ) who makes REALLY NICE AND QUITE PERFECT seatback panels and even MOLDED in color, and I bet they are so nice pretty sure pointing out to the E body market. Palco and Accu-S**T are painted. They just mold in Black or White, and EVEN THE WHITE ones are painted by Palco getting the white off shade ( over white )
Quite often those shoulder belt retractors covers float on on ebay by themselves, not allong with the rest of the panel.
Now...
. . . . . . . .
I'm gonna shoot myself, DAMN!... there are a nice set of rear lower panels for 74 right now on ebay in black. I have being watching them maybe for a year now and still didn't sell. Just that I need them white and i really would hate paint those panels because I KNOW friction will make the job ( my car "uses" to be a driver and enjoy getting ppl into the car driving around ) exposing the black sooner or later.
I just got SO dissapointed with the 74 Accu-s**t rear lowers that I have being thinking and thinking again about if getting them or not. But I can't afford them right now. Having REALLY IMPORTANT priorities.
I'd like AT LEAST these rear lowers made by Palco ('will at least match with doors and kicks and would be a bit decent ), but not

Basically just going to re-hash what Nacho said
I would stay away from repro plastic interior parts whenever possible, with exception of bucket seat backs (have to be careful on them, as there multiple manufacturers....but there is one good manufacturer)
Every time I have bought reproduction repro plastic pieces, I have been disappointed I have yet to use one single piece I have purchased. Every time, I have re-sold the parts at significant lo$$ While have not bought A pillar trims or kick panels, I have no reason to believe they are of any higher quality than the other crap that the bottom feeder manufacturers (Palco/Accuform)produce.
Good news is that since you have black pieces, you should be able to find good-very good used at reasonable prices Looking at your pics.....assuming that those were original black pieces, they were dyed WAY too heavily, which may have contributed to the visible issues Can't tell for sure.....but they also may or may not have been the best cores to start. You want non chaulky cores. If you start with a good non chaulky core, you can just mist them with SEMS Landau black with outstanding results. Very little dye is needed to attain fantastic results. If grain texture is being lost/filled in, that tells me the part was sprayed too heavily.
Definitely can't sand on those old panels. That would wipe out the grain. IF I were to try anything, I might attempt some kind of light blasting to remove all that paint/dye

as you mentioned loong time ago on a thread, can't recall if here or way before this board floated on, at DC.com.
In order... Palco are just decent for a driver and I must add, better than chalky pieces Accu-s**t are just good for spend money
To my damn bad luck, seatbacks are now half of price, but can't tell on ebay pics if they are the good or bads... some are still on $200+ rate. The good ones I got were from Classic Industries and they were INITIALLY sold ( maybe made ) for an old Mopar seller called Metroparts... nor anymore on line. For a while I sold locally the Palco seatbacks ( in half of price, was to a very good friend and his 74 Dart which didn't care a fully correct piece )
BTW, we have talked about this, with pic posted. Make a search and will find grain comparisions. ALTHOUGHT can't recall if I posted accu-s**t panels grain pics
It is very frustrating spend around $1200 on interior parts and be THAT dissapointed.
As mentioned, if just Palco would take care AT LEAST, with pillars and rear 74 quarters I could be at least less stressed having those and all matched side by side, but seat backs which since they are not side to side, is harder to notice... just the white shade being a bit off could tell somo difference on a fast view. But close the doors and notice the diff between rears and doors is killer to me. I never used Accu-s**t pillars, simply painted a decent set of original blacks I had handy. They were JUST A BIT chalky close to the glass but hard to notice. Since pillars doesn't get passengers friction, doesn't really matter.

Yes....those are the good seat backs. I have a set around here somewhere. Money well spent. I think they were originally brought to market by Metro, who later went out of business and sold their molds to another vendor. The bad ones have ridiculous large pebble grain and are too glossy.

What is sad is that the bad ones (palco?) are priced just as high as the good ones.
