Julio Jones holding out for a new contract......LOL Just 2 short years after being made the highest paid receiver in the NFL.
Falcons won't budge just 2 years in.
Honestly...I thought Julio was better than this.
Rams just extended Todd Gurley 4 years/60 million.
This is a deal they will regret But probably not as much as they will eventually regret re-signing Aaron Donald. Just like Donkey Kong Suh.....you just don't pay interior defensive lineman 20 million plus a year. EVER
I'm glad my Steelers drew the line with LeVeon Bell.
Honestly....it would not bother me if they rescinded his franchise tag and cut him loose. Josh Norman style.
Seems to me that people who skip camp seemingly always get hurt and are ineffective.

Then there is Josh Gordon at Cleveland. He's now on the Non Football Related Injury List. The cocky idiot went and got himself hurt playing basketball as unconfirmed resources are saying and its in his contract to not participate in any other sport in the off-season. These athletes are just plain stupid.

Yep...first day in Detroit...Ziggy, on a franchize tag, with a guaranteed 17+ million, starts off on the PUP list.
Can't find anything about Gordon getting hurt playing basketball.
ESPN had it last friday as unconfirmed sources. To me usually unconfirmed sources means that they have no proof and just trying to stir the pot to see if something tangible happens because they need a story to sell headlines.

Dave, how is Kerryon Johnson looking for the Lions?
This I know.....when Auburn played UGA in the regular season, Kerryon had a big game and Auburn dominated. (40-17) 32 carries, 167 yards. 2 reception for 66 yards
Just 3 weeks later, the two teams played again. Kerryon entered the game significantly injured and UGA won 28-7
I see the Redskins signed Adrian BeatHisSon today.

He's looked pretty good for a rookie. This whole running the football, and blocking for a runner, is new to us Lions. Give us time.
Personally, while I am pleased with all that has transpired in the off season, I do not expect more than 8/8 this year, which would actually be 1 win less than the past 2 seasons. But with Rogers healthy again, the fewest picks in the draft, limited help in free agency, and all the improvement (aside from, debatably, scheme) coming on the offensive side of the ball, I just don't see us moving ahead...this year. As I said. I like the GM, the coach, and many of the players. I think they will just need a year or two to pull it all together. And I am patient, unlike a lot of Detroiters.

Well, I'm patient as in "give the new staff a chance". Ownership is another story. Although, to be fair, Martha has done more with the team in a couple of years than Clay did in decades.

Andrew Luck showed nothing last night. I am wondering if he is physically capable of throwing a 20 yard pass with some mustard on it? Tossing screen passes to running backs and tight ends?
