there is no excuse, packed correctly or not for them to treat packages they way they do. They are also known for rejecting many/most/a lot of insurance claims.
Rejecting them on the basis that item was improperly packaged.
This includes rejecting insurance claims on item packaged by UPS stores (franchises)

As far as UPS, my final thought on the subject is simply, there is no excuse, packed correctly or not for them to treat packages they way they do. Agreed... if the package looks nice it seems was good treated. Then if item arrives damaged they can get a back up on his own responsability about the package conditions, blamming how it was packed inside. Is nearly imposible save any item from shakes or similar stuff. Diff is when the package arrives badly damaged and there is not excuses on that.

Wow! Was there at least an apology, acknowledgement, something for leaving that insult of a package? Wonder if the UPS guy felt some soft of embarrassment for delivering that

When they deliver packages like that, its usually a "knock and run" delivery.

Yes, exactly. I watched the UPS guy deliver a set of rocker/door sill plates packed properly in a tri-side box from Herbs. It was torn and smashed on one side. He came to my door, rang the bell and ran quickly back to his truck and took off so I couldn't refuse the package.

This is what ive learned other than UPS use caveman handling tactics. Thank you for pointing out how to remove the style of wiper on my car. Pay more for the wiper style in picture #1. (Press tab to release wiper from arm.) Pictures 2,3, and 4 show why its better to deal with the press tab to release. Theres not alot of room to bend the wiper enough to get it off the arm. I had to use tin snips to cut the ends of the blades have enough room to get them off. There is a spring that has to be squeezed enough to release it from the wiper Peg. Like someone above mentioned you have to bend them pretty far. Both styles are low profile enough for hidden wipers.

What I got was drop shipped to me straight from RockAUTO

I still preffer the one you got damaged with the articulated design from the center pivot. Is an improvement design, making a stronger position of the rubber fill over the glass all over its lenght than the older one. Would be nice to find WHY the center helicoidal spring lost the retaining position on blade... or why the blades didn't hold the spring anymore
