we could be playing with damaged turning switch on steering column. Brakes signal goes throught turning switch before run to rear. Check if you have power on white wire arriving to turning switch plug down the column when press brakes. If you have power on white wire, then check dark green and brown wires on same plug. Those are the output to rear lights ( brake/hazzards and turning ) Check for power on pink wire too, on same plug under the column... thats the power coming from hazzard flasher. everything is pointing out to a damaged turning switch inside the column, but you have to meet with some steps before get the conclusion.

Sorry...
Translation.....
Sounds very much like a bad turn signal switch.
If you can get a spare (even a used one), you can unplug the old one under the steering column and plug in the "new" one and try it. If this doesn't do the trick, at least you didn't spend several hours pulling the column apart. If it DOES work, let us know if you need pointers on changing the switch inside the column. It can be challenging.

hey guys no luck on finding the problem :/ and i think i might need a new turn sig switch, reason being is i was letting my car get some run time in some more and i turned on the parking lights and all the left turn signal lights were on and the only way to get them to turn off was to move the switch to the left. and everything is just bugging me about it.

I lost brake lights in a '74 when the trunk light wire shorted to the hinge. It caused my dome light to come on when I hit the pedal.

I'm having a similar issue, thats why they share same fuse, so if you lost some source around, power runs throught dome light and everything ground related, like Map Light. Problem in my case is I have a bad contact on brakes/dome fuse, what is quite often overheating the fuse terminal, melting the fuse box. The bad contact makes the brakes gets the power through dome light ground to close circuit somehow DOES SOMEBODY HAVE A GOOD CONDITIONS FUSEBOX ? ... all Cars around are melting at same point.
