There is a wire that has two green and one blue hookup comming from next to the brake master cylinder and goes into the dash. now would that have somethin to do with it not startin? and the blue wire comming from the altenator is also unplugged. If anyone can help me i would greatly appreiciate it thanks.

I' was at job. and just came home for couple of hours to go to job again.
Blue and green plug is A/C plug... green is blower, blue is compressor clutch
Blue wire cut... could it be or alt brush or compressor clutch wire.
Compressor wire just have power when you turn on A/C AND you have gas on system ( if you have in good conditions the pressure vlave switch at dryer )
Alt brush wire has power on run position allways.
Your car doesn't start... check engine harness plug at bulkhead.
Is the engine cranking ?
Being 74... Is the reset button plugged ? ahev you tried resetting ?
you need 12 volts at ballast on blue wire on RUN you need 12 volts at + lead of coil at START you need around 9 volts at + lead of coil at RUN.
Do you have plugged the NSS at tranny ?
Be sure you have shifter at P or N and jump the starter relay between batt and sol ends

the whole seatbelt interlock system has been takin out of the car some years back my grand dad had did it. I was thinkin maybe it was the ballast resistor. But ill try to jump start the starter relay and see what happens. thank you so much nacho for tryin to help me out i greatly appreciate it alot.

If the motor is turning over, then do you have spark at the plugs? If so, got gas getting to the carb? If so then you should at least have something going on if the timing is close, if not right on....
