I tried clicking the link too with the same results as Jer. I found that only the main page is linkable By copying the entire link & pasting it in your address bar you get direct access Copy this>>> www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,21865.0.html <<< Now wasn't that what Nacho said all along Guess they don't like shortcuts

I cut out a retangle of the top right of my glove box so my radio would fit. my radio comes with a remote so i can control it from my drivers seat and the radio has a removeable faceplate so i can take it off and put it and the remote in the box so i can close the lid and lock it up nice and tight! and i got the radio frame and traced the two screw holes on top of the box to where the radio would fit perfect in the box and my radio came with screws and they were perfect for my idea, and i found some nuts to reinforce it so the radio wouldn't come crashing down and i just tightend up the screws and nuts and slid the radio in (of corse i took the glove box out) the glove box may sag a little bit if u do it my way but when u get it screwed back in and squared away it will look like it is sopposed to be there. ill will post pics if u would like.

I made a custom plate and put one where the woodgrain panel is on the right dash pad area. I'll try to post pics soon.
I like the CD player in the glovebox idea. It's out of sight and lockable. I got a new stereo for X-mas from my hunny and thought the remote was kinda queer, but now.........

well thats an old thread... actually I fit also a Radio signal amplifier.
Dunno why I can't get now power from the power point I designed with the cigar lighter. Can't find anything burnt inside or outside. I know I got power once but suddenly was getting a short ( Radio fuse blowed ). replaced fuse and not anymore power from there. Tried to take the power to the radio signal amplifier from there without succes, so since I fit a REMOTE signal from the stock radio to a powered antenna, I'm using taht same signal to power on the amplifier.

I'm a heretic, I just cut the dash. This is the JVC I recently replaced with an Alpine CD player.
