You can still find uner dash am/fm cassete players. I've seen people adapt nice cd players under the dash and did not have to reach all the way in the glove box to adjust.

www.gardenofspeedin.com/Navigate through this website (start with Classic Style Stereos): You can get anything from the basic all the way up to one that stays completely hidden (leaving your original in place) with a 10 CD hidden changer. Some units have hidden jacks for Satellite Radio, DVD, iPod, TV, etc. You just have to navigate through the site to find the one you want. ~Jer~

Never have seen aftermarkets radios from fact to fit on one side Knobs setups. Just some custom jobs making modifications on vintage radios to fit both knobs at one side.
However you can try to find a Multiplexer Original radio ( multiplexer=cassette pigtail equipped ) and modify the plug to plug an external sound device. I'm making that. I made diagrams about how to do it on DC.com. will search the thread and post here.

That's why you go with this one...you leave your original radio in the dash: www.gardenofspeedin.com/products.asp?detail=815&sub=38Here's what it proclaims:SECRETAUDIO SS"Leave your original radio in the dash and control this stereo by RF remote control from up to 50 feet away! The LCD display can be mounted almost anywhere and the tuner/amplifier unit can be hidden behind the dash, or under the seat. This unit will also control an optional 6 disc changer that can be mounted in the trunk. Ideal for classics, rods, customs, or any vehicle.”100 watts (4x25) Electronic tuning 18 station pre-sets (6AM/12FM) Seek tuning allows easy pickup of strong stations Separate bass and treble controls CD track disc/scan/repeat/random play (CD changer optional) 4 way speaker fader; balance from front to rear / left to right 4 channel RCA pre-outs provided for external amplifiers [The reason I had all of this info readily available is because I’ve pretty much decided to go this route….I used to do the Sirius thing, but I’d rather have my own selection of tunes.] ~Jer~

I always end up on the home page that lists all of the sections...always! I'M SO ASHAMED #WackComputer# #WackComputer# #WackComputer# #WackComputer#
