ok how many sets of this do we need, I have decided to get fully involved and going to see a guy in PA about making the molds for this. He has a company that teaches and sells everything to do with making reproduction parts. There are several materials that can be used , I think urethane rubber is the way to go. I will keep you guys posted. If any other people are interested in learning this stuff let me know, we can do a group trip.

I need full set, but... how much to pay? I won't pay an eye for them ( like usually Mopar parts are ), but just sacrifice a little bit for the front center at least

Yeah Scotty. I need pieces at least if not a full set if they were reasonable. I may be interested in going given time etc.

I cant see it costing too much, I guess it depends on the material price. Im willing to absorb the price of the molds i guess that would be 6 total. I guess I will find out the best material to cast them with once I meet with the guy. The price is still unknown at this point I really cant see them costing that much, mix, pour, cure, and then maybe paint them if they cant be cast in color. A gallon of the urethane rubber stuff is 83 bucks but it comes with a gallon of hardener so actually i think it would really make 2 gallons of material. I think we can make alot of pcs with 2 gallons of goo. Of course time will need to be calculated in for any prep/ flashing removal . If i had to guess i would think like 40 bucks a pc or something. wat you think bout that!

Do you have all 6 mint NOS pieces to make the molds from?
I feel certain that this is the issue that has prevented others from getting them to market in the past.

My personal taste is that I would never put them back on even if the price was Bobbish. Just my preference.

actually tom I have really nice pcs, and part of the conversation with the dude was about repairing parts prior to the mold making, he seemed to think it wasnt an issue. So Im definatley going to meet with him, hes only an hour and ahalf from me, and in the same town as the fireworks factory

actually nacho, I was considering the head light surrounds first, i think they would be much easier, I was checking out the mold making video and due to its size shape and thickness , I might try them first for practice, I really dont wanna wreck my bumper pcs i have extra light surronds so if it gets screwed up i wont care.
