GIGA is a prefix indicating the size or quantity of an item. as in milliwatt, watt, megawatt, gigawatt. GIGA is big! Bigger than Mega! This whole idea is mind boggling to me. Mr. Anal Jer...who just HAS TO HAVE the CORRECT itsy bitsy bracket for his passenger side window motor......(which would be hidden under the door panel) would think of taking off the good looking 71-72 bumper guards and replacing them with the GIGA guards that look like they belong on a freaking barge. Okay, here's the MAIN reason I want the Big Mama GIGA ones:
I am doing so much Charger swapping in and out of the garage that if I "temporarily" slapped a set of those on, I could use my truck to push said Chargers back up in the garage as needed... (rolling them OUT of the garage is no problem.)
And only until the Motor swaps/restorations were completed.
So there you have it!

If bigger is beautiful, I have just the ticket. I know of a JY with some Corronet highway patrol cars. They have push bumpers as big as a tugboat. They must weigh 75 lbs a piece. I think they would enhance the flowing lines of any 3rd gen Charger. Of course you would have to swap in 2" torsion bars and truck springs to keep the bumpers from scraping on the pavement, but beautification can be expensive.

BOB:Can you run back up to them there hills and get this guy's front bumper off of that red Dodge Tow Truck... It'll be just the ticket for pushing these Chargers around... and I think it will look great on the Durango!!

Jer, I have to wonder if it's really little rubber baby buggy bumpers that you want for your Charger (I need em) or if it's really bumper mounted spare tires you need for your push truck, like ya see on a tug boat?
Sorry...I just like saying, "little rubber baby buggy bumpers"!

Sorry...I just like saying, "little rubber baby buggy bumpers"! That's exactly how I shoved that Motorhome back up against the back fence after I had taken everything I wanted up to and including the steering wheel!! My Best Friend for the Day, Jim, held a tire up between "The Dump Truck" and the Motorhome, and I kicked that F-250 Cornbinder 420 worn-out/tired/gutless diesel in the behind!! AND AWAY WE WENT!! (didn't even need to engage the 4WD!! So, yeah, Brock, maybe all I need to do is tie my four spare tires left over from the 5th Wheeler onto the front of my pickup!! Oooooh, Gladys Kravitz across the street would LOVE that!! Wait til she gets a load of a 34 foot Motorhome parked directly opposite her driveway entrance for 3 days at a time (that's all I can get away with.) I have to be careful, though...believe it or not I have filed 3 police reports over mud, eggs, and rocks thrown into the passenger side of my vehicles that I park there... And this is a GROWN woman I'm talking about....well, physically grown anyway....mentally?...Not So Much!! She sells seashells by the seashore. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? (I put that last in just for you, Brock!) ;D

Will the "Big & Fat" bumperettes w/rubber inserts (from 73/74 Chargers) bolt up to my '72 front and rear bumpers to replace the "small and wimpy" ones? If not, what are the fitment issues that prevent said interchange from happening? Thanks for any info. Jer. No, not without modifing the holes. The 71/2 bumper guards mound in a slightly different location than the 73/4 bumper guards...
