View Attachment...but need to find the actual electrical switch #3488398 if anyone know where I can get one? I am thinking that the search for the ignition switch might go better if you find out the GM part number of the switch. Probably be a big difference in price and way easier to find. Tilt column with floor shift....very cool. Can't wait to see some pictures.

Even though I have the garage, tools and lift I decided to take my Charger to my buddy's garage to replace the shift seal, service the trans and change the rear diff seal. As of right this moment I have no leaks at all. Best 100 bucks I've spent in awhile. And I didn't have to get dirty. I just watched and messed around.

Didn't do this today but I did finish it recently. Took the picture TODAY. After thinking long and hard I decided I wanted tips on my Charger and being a CA car they were never available so I took my pristine rear panel off, bought a trashed rustfree dual exhaust valance from Vegascharger on dodgecharger.com , cutout the recessed area plus enough to fill in the guard recess and welded them in on the opposite side. This gave me the patch on the correct side to fill the guard hole with one square weld to do. I took my time welding it and only needed a thin skim coat of All Metal to even out the weld area after metal finishing it. Did the same to the backside. Sometimes the other guys in the shop think I am crazy. This method not only allowed me to fill the guard hole but let me preserve the slight indentation above the recess that is there on factory ones. Seen from the side the body line around the tip goes in then fades into the flat part of it. Inital plans were to blend in the paint into my original but I had it mixed up and it was so shiny and well........ Backside is Sikkens Rallye Black with 35% reducer and the front is Sikkens base / clear. I left the horrible runs on the backside for originality. If anybody needs a code for G8 Dark Sherwood Forest green, this matches great. I actually blended it into my 40 year old paint on the fender and it is dead on. Before we switched out our old paint system, I mixed myself up enough to paint the whole car before they took it out. BTW I do know they make these new but OCD parameters require me to do stuff the hard way. I will post the pics of my equal length dual snorkel 74 air cleaner I built sometime to prove it .

It doesn't amount to much but it got some 440 magnum emblems for my hood scoop and for my personal taste I think that made the scoop a lot better looking to me.
