Did any 71-74 Chargers have a tilt column? Will any other models interchange that look correct? Mine is a 73 Charger SE.

I have two tilt colums that I bought, one out of a 1971 Satellite Sebring Plus and one I bought from a Moparts member. 1971-72 Colums will interchange but 1973-up is different. I have never tryed this but"Maybe" a 1975-78 B-body (Cordoba,Charger, etc. ) my work..I am not sure.

I just looked at the parts book for a signal switch. They are usually listed with and without tilt. ONLY tilt listed was for C bodys and up

Was curious, I was looking at the custom gauge thread under interior, page 2 there is a pic on there from wookie that appears to have tilt? My car has a roll cage, just thinking might make life easier getting in and out. Not a big deal, or interested in aftermarket column but I would put in a stock type one.

now... can be done on a 73 from a 71/72 donor ? I guess my advice would be install solid K member mounts to match the solid assembly. 73 and lates shafts are more articulated I guess to absorv the body isolation
I guess lenght must be about the same.
otherwise, go to Flaming River website.

And as shown in those photos Nacho, did we not previously establish (when Jer was looking for one), that the factory tilt columns in these early cars were column shift only?

As I mentioned, as far as I know not available in 73 or 74. And the columns are different from 71-2. 73 was the first year of the rag-joint set up.
