Just did the yearly oil change. I forgot how tight of an area the filter is in on my 383. The transmission lines interfere with the process. Also hate that the oil pours onto the k frame when removing the filter.

Also hate that the oil pours onto the k frame when removing the filter. Here's a tip for next time. Loosen the filter to the point you can turn it by hand then place a peice of cardboard on the k frame and lay rags on it. Remove filter. The rags will catch the oil and if any gets through the cardboard will keep it off the frame.

That looks like a pretty useful tool. I ended up stuffing rags in the narrow area under the filter to clean up.

Yes,Oil Change had to be done bevor Summer. Last week i took the front Seat Bench apart again, because i was not happy with the Seat hight. The Foam that was used to repair the Seat Bottom was to hard and thick ,so my head was nearly touching the Roof. Replaced it with a thinner layer of Foam so now its how i wanted it to be.

I believe the stock foam was 1 1/2" thick, but when I redid my rear seat I could only find 1" and 2" thick.

I have the opposite problem my bucket seat cushion is warn flat. I sometimes feel like a kid sitting in dad's car. Lol. One day I'll have it re-done. Not sure if the original vinyl/material will hold up to taking it apart. Probably gonna have someone re-upholster in the future.
