1 1/2 could be right. The upholstry shop cut out the areas where you sit (bench seat) and replaced it with the right thikness but it was too hard. in this case you sit too high. i replaced the entire surface with thinner and harder foam,now its flatter and the position and comfort is how i wanted it to be. maybe i relocate the seat a little bit further back but i dont know how i should make this. the relocator sets require to cut the studs. i wonder if you could just drill another hole in the seat track,there is a little room behind the holes for another one.

Same here. I will be having my seats redone by a place close to me. The spring work will definitely have to be redone on the drivers seat.

Built my own boom tube exhaust tips and redone my exhaust system. Had the seat reuphostered, replaced the headliner, redesigned my subframe connectors and had to replace the driver's floor pan. All this work started because I wanted the boom tube exhaust.

Outer window felt and door seal on drivers door done. Top Cat Whisker brand felts look great. Expensive but the best. Install panels and replaced both roof rail seals. Those were pretty easy. Still going to replace the quarter division seals and pass door seal. The inner window felts will wait until winter when I can pull the panels and work on them in the heated garage.

Just had the Holly Sniper fuel injection added to my 73 340. Throttle response is crazy better. Had a few hiccups. O2 sensor was bad from the get go, the ballist resistor I put in last year went bad too. After that it seems to be doing good. The fuel pump that came with the kit is stupid noisy. Even had Holly send a replacement but still loud. Will need to upgrade to an in tank pump at some point. Looking forward to putting more enjoyable miles on.

Have any pictures you can share? I love my Fitech EFI I installed 2 years ago........until now. My ECU took a crap for some reason and wiped out all of the data on the hand held device. Now the car won't start up. It cranks once and stops. The ECU makes a goofy noise and the hand held keeps saying ECU no Response. Called their support line and the guy wasn't much help. Had me check all of the wiring for power which I already did numerous times. Then he said I probably have a bad ECU. If thats the case, replacement will be about 800 bucks . Gonna go at again this afternoon and see if I get lucky.
