Hey all,
Are there any differences between the 71 and 72 hideaways? if so, are they interchangeable?

Cool Looks like the only difference is more vertical fins but the bolt pattern and mounting appear to be identical. Thats exactly what i was after, thanks a ton DynoDave ;D

I've got '72 grilles in my '71. No problems.

totally interchangeable, and use same attaching and everything, just as stated the vertical fins on grilles AND headlight doors.
plus 71 carries the DODGE badge on driver headlight door, 72 doesn't

Also there is only 1 part number for the 72 doors - interchangable side to side!

Also there is only 1 part number for the 72 doors - interchangable side to side! Oh, I beg to differ Sir Brock.... The right side door for a 72 is Part Number 3574028RH. And the left side door for a 72 is Part Number 3574029LH... and they are slightly different...the front face is only a little different in height and the stop would be on the top instead of the bottom (and vice versa) if you tried to reverse them... also the center line is slightly off center and wouldn't line up with the center line on the inner grill. Tom can confirm this, as the 3 of us were discussing the very same thing, and---big surprize--he just happened to have both close at hand... See Brock, we Moderators do accomplish more than moving Posts!!
