Nice! What engine, and what cam specs? Nothing too out of the ordinary! 400ci 4 barrel. Installed the Comp Cams Nostalgia Plus 284/484 108lsa. Made the rookie mistake of not upgrading the stall converter during installation as well, so it's having some issues idling at slow idle. Based in my theorical experience that's a wrong cam for the lack of CR coming from the 400. Thats a wrong can even for lates 440s. The previous step made by MP called the "Hemi grind ( last version, not the original ) could be about the limit. 280/.474... and is still silghtly overcammed with an incorrect TC A 284/.484 cam request for 9.5 or 10 CR, where the 400 barelly reachs 8 ( if using metallic headgasket ) on stock pistons

It must be there a "bug" on the board somewhere... If I don't make this reply, I couldn't see my previous reply, still being on the "last post" update box at a side

I have no idea what's up. But I had a "new post" indicator for this thread, but could see no new content. After checking, the "new post" indicator was still there. I had to go under the actions menu and mark the board as "read" to make that indicator go away. I have not seen that happening with any other thread.

Just a last minute thing I've been wanting to do since I've owned it. It's needed nothing mechanically done to it this year. Spent most of my time on the Galaxie which will make it's debut at Frankenmuth this year.

I finally finished installing the new air conditioning system and got it charged up last week. First time the air has worked since we bought it. In the process of restoring the original rallye wheels and center caps. I found a mechanic that specializes in carbs and ignition, getting the Charger tuned up so it runs its best.

I think it was a Vintage Air kit, it was purchased over ten years ago. I know it's a Sanden compressor. I didn't like the hoses that came with the kit so I ordered the parts I liked, and made them up to fit my car, then took them down to a local hose shop and had the ends crimped on.
