Greetings! I'm still here My Charger has been in the shop for about 1.5 year and JUST got it back yesterday...just in time for winter I was hoping this site was still going as you all have been a great asset in helping me get things rolling, and it's appreciated! The shop I went to initially did a lot of work internally, but decided to move my car to another exhaust shop without informing me (Grrrrrr). So now, I finally have it back and would like to figure out next moves. If any of you have insight into a few questions I have, I'd appreciate any info that could help me. Here's a quick list of what was done. - Rebuilt radiator - replaced water pump - replaced master cylinder - new brakes - new plugs - new distributor cap, etc - new tires - rebuilt carburetor NEEDS - - heat doesn't work - some gauges don't work - vinyl top is gone - paint - electrical is bad (headlights blink with signal) - linkage bushings With what's needed, and not having a garage (will wait till spring), am I able to replace the linkage bushings? The shifter is really loose when put into gear. Also, I'm looking for a good place that can get me new glass for the back (3 slit) windows on both sides. Only plexi in there now. Thanks again! Andy

Hi Andy. Glad to see your still making progress with this one.
I'll let someone who is more familiar with the '73/'74 cars answer for sure, but I think that quarter window is the same on all of those cars, with or without the louvers. I'm not sure about "new" glass, but you should be able to find some used stuff.

The 73's and 74's are pretty much the same with few minor differences. The Louvers are the same between the 2 years as is the glass and the vinyl tops.

Depending what you mean about “with and without louvers”. If you meant those 74 with the same filler but just replacing the louvers itself by a square frame (M07 code on tag), yes they are the same. Now, if you meant the regular hardtop look model, with or without roll down glass…no, is not the same with opera window finish. In fact not even roll down and non roll down quarter windows are the same between them.

Correct, althought 73 and 74s get a small difference between them on the end of the vertical trim with the horizontal vinyl mold running down the quarter window. I have pics of that somewhere. One of them end kinda “slanted” while the other is a vertical end. It does interchange thought

Thank you for the insight, it's very helpful! I'm seeing some resources online that sell these windows and will dig deeper to see what's best. Any suggestions are welcome
