Lol that's funny. So I'm working on the wiring for the neutral safety switch now. I have the ground connected but I don't know where the other two wires are. If it is color coded correctly then I should be looking for an all black one and a purple with a black stripe right? There had been some wiring done by someone else so a location of where to find them would probably be easier

Until 74 outer wires were both black but one traced white. TIPICALLY the traced one was the one designed to feed the back up lamps, while the solid color wire was the one coming from fuse block but they can be reversed and will work the same.
Since 75 the black wire traced white was replaced by a violet wire, since this color was original designated to feed back up lamps on rear harness since ever.
Inside the cab, these wires are both white ( of course the trace become black on the traced line )

This is the 74 setup On 71 the tranny ground signal doesn't splice into the cab ( 72 was the first year ) and A/C wires ( blower and compressor ) used those two empty cavities on NSS plug at bulkhead to get into the cab editing: sorry, the img doesn't load on here because images hosted at dodgecharger.com doesn't create a valid BBcode for this board, but here is the link where I posted. Link at dodgecharger.comi made the same diagram for 71 but is at my Laptop and I'm posting right now on bed with my iPad LOL

I did know I had posted both diagrams somewhere... here they are. the one labeled as 71/72 is actually just 71... the one labeled as 73/74 is actually 72/74 BUT on 72/73 the empty cavity left on bulkhead plug was used for the Blower either being just Heater or A/C. when it was A/C on 72/73 the compressor wire was running through a cavity left on engine harness. then on 74 due the interlock system, more wiring was required to go through the bulkhead then the A/C harness was running throught the firewall. couple of NSS harnesses setupsmall details learnt along the years what makes differences

Oh ok cool. That'll help whenever I put ac back in the car. I'm putting the car back to factory stock and it had came with ac but someone has since taken it out.
