Now that, that is figured out. Is there a place that I can get the right grounds?

Adding grounds will never hurt. Can't add too many. Here's a strange one. My 71 383 only has the main battery cable to the block and a ground from negative cable to the radiator support and everything works fine. I've had the entire engine bay stripped from this very original car and there was no sign of any remnant of an engine to firewall ground. Wouldn't hurt to add one. I just never think of it when working on the car.

The one I bought didn't have that. Should I get one with the little pig tail on it and add the ground that way?

Stock location. a body but all are pretty much the same. You'll find an embosed square nut for the ground bolt Tipical Neg battery wire. 12 gauge wire leg goes there. Yes, you could ad a ground wire to the batt terminal ( maybe to the tightening bolt )

I Edited the reply while you quoted me, but will reply again about that

As far I recall the ground spot is a 1/4" nut on 20 thread ? ( 7/16" hex head for the bolt )... but can't recall correctly

Ah! And of course, the forward lighting harness ground provision also gets attached there.

Alright so now I'm trying to get the engine to turn over with the key but it's not doing it so far. Seems like anything grounded to the driver side part of the chassis doesn't work yet. So the front lights and the starter relay. The rear lights work and the driver side marker light does. As well as the turn signals although only on the rear. The flashers work again, only on the rear. The instrument panel lights work and they dim and brighten. The alternator gauge works I assume that's like a battery voltage meter. And the windshield wipers work. That's all I've noticed so far. Maybe there is something that is making those work and not the other stuff.
