Wow, Tom too bad about the RR being toast.
It reminds me of a lot of cars I saw when I lived in Allentown PA. Heavy salt ate everything!
Good score on the parts, though.
Godspeed, JON

Those are some shocking rust holes. How different would the 4 speed hump be from a 71-72 version?

Wow, that does have some issues. Hate to see it go, but it was time.

Got the Super Bee home and stowed away yesterday. (thanks Terry) First thing on the "to do list" is to tear off the 73/74 front clip.....and start making a list of needed parts. Probably going to use the 318/bench seat 71 I bought, with rusty cowl and firewall, as a parts donor. It has some good stuff that the Bee needs...deck lid, dutchman panel, rear bumper, etc etc that is needed on the Bee.... Now that I have the Bee, I am not particularly inclined to attempt the roof, cowl, firewall replacement needed on the 318 car. In hindsight, I wished I would not have bought the first 71 and the 73 RR...but what is done, is done.

It has always surprised me on how little is left of a car I parted out
The pile for garbage can, the pile going into storage out of the elements, and finally the pile to recoup the purchase price.

That Bee looks solid, Tom. I have not heard you mention the orange car in quite a while. Do you still have it?

It's a future "cars in barns" project.

Have not driven it much or done anything to it over the last year. I am going to have the trans rebuild this winter. The core structure of the Bee is pretty solid. Most (if not all) of the bolt on sheet metal will be replaced. It will need some other metal replaced.....such as the dutchman and trunk pan.
