It has always surprised me on how little is left of a car I parted out The pile for garbage can, the pile going into storage out of the elements, and finally the pile to recoup the purchase price. No kidding....and the older these cars get, the smaller and smaller the "keep pile" gets.

Over the last 2 days, I have managed to buy two rust free 71 fenders and a 71 R/T hood for the Super Bee. I will worry about getting the S/B insert for the hood later. Paid significantly more than I like...but don't really care. Lets just say that the fenders and hood cost almost as much as the Super Bee and 71 SE parts car. The fenders are being shipped from Texas. The hood was 15 minutes from my house, which in my mind made the price a little easier to swallow. So, I guess I need to get some pics of the Bee up and start a restoration thread.

Was that the hood in Canton? I almost emailed you see if you would pick that one up for me if I bought it, LOL!

I think the one in Canton is still available. If I'm correct, Tom got this one in Loganville. Canton is close enough for either one of us to pickup if you buy it.
